Quick and healthy chicken burgers made in an air fryer, perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients

- 1 pound ground chicken
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup finely chopped onion
- ½ cup panko bread crumbs
- 2 minced garlic cloves
- ½ to ¾ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
- ¾ cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons Franks RedHot sauce
- 1 or 2 finely grated garlic cloves
- 4 burger buns
- Lettuce leaves as needed
- Tomato slices as needed
- Onion slices as needed
Instructions
- Mix all patty ingredients in a bowl until combined.
- Shape into 4 patties, 4-5 inches in diameter.
- Preheat air fryer to 365°F. Cook patties for 8-10 minutes until done.
- Check doneness by pressing the center—if firm, it’s ready.
- Mix mayonnaise, hot sauce, and grated garlic for the sauce.
- Toast buns with mayo in the air fryer at 340°F for 3-4 minutes.
- Assemble burgers with sauce, patty, tomato, onion, and lettuce.
Notes
- Use a meat thermometer to ensure patties reach 165°F.
- Adjust hot sauce to taste.
