Description

Quick and healthy chicken burgers made in an air fryer, perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup finely chopped onion
  • ½ cup panko bread crumbs
  • 2 minced garlic cloves
  • ½ to ¾ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ¾ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Franks RedHot sauce
  • 1 or 2 finely grated garlic cloves
  • 4 burger buns
  • Lettuce leaves as needed
  • Tomato slices as needed
  • Onion slices as needed

Instructions

  1. Mix all patty ingredients in a bowl until combined.
  2. Shape into 4 patties, 4-5 inches in diameter.
  3. Preheat air fryer to 365°F. Cook patties for 8-10 minutes until done.
  4. Check doneness by pressing the center—if firm, it’s ready.
  5. Mix mayonnaise, hot sauce, and grated garlic for the sauce.
  6. Toast buns with mayo in the air fryer at 340°F for 3-4 minutes.
  7. Assemble burgers with sauce, patty, tomato, onion, and lettuce.

Notes

  • Use a meat thermometer to ensure patties reach 165°F.
