Description
Quick and flavorful chicken skewers cooked in an air fryer.
Ingredients
Scale
- 640g boneless skinless chicken thighs
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp paprika
- 3/4 tsp garlic powder
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 75g unsalted butter, softened
- 20g freshly grated parmesan
- 3 cloves garlic, finely grated
- 1 tbsp finely diced fresh parsley
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Slice the chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces and combine with oil and seasoning.
- Thread the chicken onto 4 skewers, leaving a gap at both ends.
- Place in the air fryer and cook at 200C/400F for 10 minutes.
- Combine butter, parmesan, garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- After 10 minutes, flip the skewers and brush with 1/3 of the butter.
- Air fry for 2 minutes and 30 seconds, then flip and brush with another 1/3 of the butter.
- Air fry for another 2 minutes and 30 seconds, or until lightly charred and fully cooked.
- Remove skewers and brush with the remaining butter.
Notes
- Adjust cayenne pepper for less spice.
- Ensure chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165F/74C.
