Air Fryer Chicken Skewers

Description

Quick and flavorful chicken skewers cooked in an air fryer.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 640g boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 3/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 75g unsalted butter, softened
  • 20g freshly grated parmesan
  • 3 cloves garlic, finely grated
  • 1 tbsp finely diced fresh parsley
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Slice the chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces and combine with oil and seasoning.
  2. Thread the chicken onto 4 skewers, leaving a gap at both ends.
  3. Place in the air fryer and cook at 200C/400F for 10 minutes.
  4. Combine butter, parmesan, garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  5. After 10 minutes, flip the skewers and brush with 1/3 of the butter.
  6. Air fry for 2 minutes and 30 seconds, then flip and brush with another 1/3 of the butter.
  7. Air fry for another 2 minutes and 30 seconds, or until lightly charred and fully cooked.
  8. Remove skewers and brush with the remaining butter.

Notes

  • Adjust cayenne pepper for less spice.
  • Ensure chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165F/74C.
