Description

- 36 red cherry tomatoes
- 24 bite sized fresh mozzarella balls
- 36 small basil leaves
- 1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 1/2 tablespoons balsamic glaze
- salt and pepper to taste
- 12 8-inch skewers
Instructions
- Mix the olive oil, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
- Add the mozzarella balls to the bowl and toss to coat them evenly.
- Thread the tomatoes, basil, and mozzarella balls onto the skewers, alternating the ingredients. Use 3 tomatoes, 3 basil leaves, and 2 mozzarella balls per skewer.
- Arrange the caprese skewers on a serving platter or cover and store them in the refrigerator until you are ready to serve.
- Place the balsamic glaze into a small plastic bag and snip off one corner.
- Drizzle the balsamic glaze over the skewers and serve immediately.
