Description
Make a creamy, dessert-like caramel and cookies drink at home. This recipe provides simple steps to create a coffee shop style beverage.

- 1 heaping cup crushed ice
- 1 1/2 cup good quality vanilla ice cream
- 1 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp Ghirardelli White chocolate powder
- 2 fl oz Double shot espresso
- Caramel sauce Torani brand
- Whipped cream for topping
Instructions
- Mix the sugar and white chocolate powder together in a mug.
- Pour a double shot of fresh espresso (about 2 fl oz) over the sugar and white chocolate mixture and stir well. If you do not have an espresso machine, mix 2 teaspoons of espresso powder with 2 oz of boiling water.
- Add 1 heaping cup of crushed ice and 1 1/2 cups of vanilla ice cream into a blender.
- Pour the sweet espresso mixture into the blender.
- Place the lid on and blend at high speed for 20 to 30 seconds, or until the ice is finely blended.
- Drizzle caramel sauce on the sides of your serving cup.
- Pour the frappe inside the prepared cup.
- Add a generous amount of whipped cream on top.
- Drizzle with extra caramel sauce and serve.
Notes
- If you do not have an espresso machine, mix 2 teaspoons of espresso powder with 2 oz of boiling water.
- Use crushed ice instead of cubed ice to keep the mixture colder during blending.
- Drizzle caramel sauce on the serving cup sides and top for a cafe look.
