Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 12 oz pasta (penne or fusilli)
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • Salt, pepper, oregano to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook pasta until al dente, drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, sauté onion and garlic, add ground beef, cook until browned.
  4. Add marinara sauce, season with salt, pepper, oregano. Simmer 5 minutes.
  5. Combine pasta, beef sauce, and half the cheese in a baking dish.
  6. Top with remaining cheese.
  7. Bake 20–25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  8. Let rest 5 minutes before serving.
