- 1 pound ground chicken
- 1/2 cup finely grated parmesan cheese
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Kosher salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/2 cup marinara or pizza sauce
- 4 ounces fresh mozzarella cheese
- 1 large tomato, sliced
- Fresh basil leaves
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet or pizza pan with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, combine the ground chicken, grated parmesan cheese, egg, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Mix all ingredients thoroughly to combine.
- Transfer the meat mixture and spread it on the prepared pan into a 1/4-inch thick circle.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until the edges start to brown.
- Top the crust with marinara sauce, fresh mozzarella cheese, and sliced tomato.
- Bake for another 5 minutes, or until the mozzarella melts.
- Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.
Notes
- If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
- To reheat, place the pizza on a baking sheet and bake at 425°F for about 10 minutes, or use the microwave until heated through.
- You can freeze the pizza for up to 2 months by wrapping it tightly in plastic wrap and placing it in an airtight container or freezer bag. Reheat directly from frozen.
