Description

A bold and cozy drink combining espresso, cocoa, cinnamon, and a hint of chili for a warming experience.


Ingredients

  • 1 shot Espresso
  • 1/2 tsp Unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp Ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp Chili powder
  • 1 tbsp Brown sugar
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1/4 tsp Vanilla extract
  • Whipped cream (to taste)
  • Pinch of cocoa powder (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Brew the espresso.
  2. In a saucepan, mix cocoa, cinnamon, chili powder, and brown sugar with a splash of milk to form a paste.
  3. Add the remaining milk and vanilla, heating over medium until hot, stirring to combine.
  4. Froth the milk lightly.
  5. Pour the espresso into a mug, add the spiced milk mixture, and top with whipped cream and a dusting of cocoa powder.
