Description

Create elegant, bite-sized holiday appetizers using flaky phyllo shells filled with warm, melted Brie and topped with tart cranberry sauce.


Ingredients

  • 15 frozen phyllo shells
  • 8 oz wheel or wedge of brie cheese
  • 7.5 tsp leftover cranberry sauce plus extra to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Prepare a small baking sheet with parchment or foil if you wish, then place the phyllo shells on it.
  2. Remove the rind from the brie and cut it into fifteen 1-inch cubes.
  3. Place one brie cube in each phyllo cup.
  4. Bake for 8 minutes, or until the brie melts and becomes warm.
  5. While the phyllo cups bake, warm your cranberry sauce using a microwave or stovetop.
  6. Once the cups are done baking, add 1/2 teaspoon (or more) of the warmed cranberry sauce to each phyllo cup.
  7. Enjoy them right away for the best result.
