Description

A creamy, tangy dip with a sweet-savory cranberry topping, perfect for holiday gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 oz. fresh cranberries
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 jalapeño (optional)
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 3 green onions, sliced
  • 1 box crackers (for serving)
  • 1 apple (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Rinse the cranberries and add them to a small pot with sugar, water, and salt.
  2. If using jalapeño, remove the stem, slice, deseed, dice, and add to the pot.
  3. Stir, cover, and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 5 minutes.
  4. Once cranberries burst and sauce thickens, remove from heat and cool in the fridge.
  5. Place cream cheese on a plate and create an indentation in the center.
  6. Pour cooled cranberry sauce over cream cheese and top with green onions.
  7. Serve with crackers and apple slices.

Notes

  • Adjust jalapeño amount for desired spiciness.
  • Serve chilled for best texture.
