Ingredients

- 6 oz. fresh cranberries
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 jalapeño (optional)
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 8 oz. cream cheese
- 3 green onions, sliced
- 1 box crackers (for serving)
- 1 apple (for serving)
Instructions
- Rinse the cranberries and add them to a small pot with sugar, water, and salt.
- If using jalapeño, remove the stem, slice, deseed, dice, and add to the pot.
- Stir, cover, and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 5 minutes.
- Once cranberries burst and sauce thickens, remove from heat and cool in the fridge.
- Place cream cheese on a plate and create an indentation in the center.
- Pour cooled cranberry sauce over cream cheese and top with green onions.
- Serve with crackers and apple slices.
Notes
- Adjust jalapeño amount for desired spiciness.
