A festive dessert combining tart cranberries and creamy white chocolate in a chewy blondie.

- 3/4 cup butter, cubed
- 1–1/2 cups packed light brown sugar
- 2 large eggs, room temperature
- 3/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2–1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1–1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries
- 6 ounces white baking chocolate, coarsely chopped
- 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup confectioners’ sugar
- 1 tablespoon grated orange zest, optional
- 6 ounces white baking chocolate, melted
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Melt butter in a microwave-safe bowl. Stir in brown sugar. Cool slightly.
- Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each. Mix in vanilla.
- Whisk flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon in a separate bowl. Stir into butter mixture.
- Fold in cranberries and chopped chocolate. Spread batter into a greased 13×9-inch pan.
- Bake for 18-21 minutes until golden and a toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely.
- Beat cream cheese, confectioners’ sugar, and orange zest (if using) until smooth.
- Gradually mix in half the melted white chocolate. Spread over blondies.
- Sprinkle with chopped cranberries and drizzle remaining chocolate.
- Cut into triangles. Store refrigerated in an airtight container.
Notes
- For a stronger orange flavor, add extra zest to the frosting.
- Chill blondies before slicing for cleaner cuts.
