Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 3 cups egg noodles
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheese
  • 1 onion, diced
  • Salt, pepper, garlic powder to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the egg noodles until they are al dente.
  2. Brown the ground beef with the diced onion in a skillet. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Stir the tomato sauce, cream of mushroom soup, salt, pepper, and garlic powder into the beef mixture.
  4. Remove the skillet from the heat. Stir in the sour cream and half of the shredded cheese until combined.
  5. Fold the cooked noodles into the beef and sauce mixture.
  6. Transfer the entire mixture to a baking dish.
  7. Top the casserole evenly with the remaining shredded cheese.
  8. Bake at 350°F for 25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
