- 1 lb ground beef
- 3 cups egg noodles
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheese
- 1 onion, diced
- Salt, pepper, garlic powder to taste
Instructions
- Cook the egg noodles until they are al dente.
- Brown the ground beef with the diced onion in a skillet. Drain any excess fat.
- Stir the tomato sauce, cream of mushroom soup, salt, pepper, and garlic powder into the beef mixture.
- Remove the skillet from the heat. Stir in the sour cream and half of the shredded cheese until combined.
- Fold the cooked noodles into the beef and sauce mixture.
- Transfer the entire mixture to a baking dish.
- Top the casserole evenly with the remaining shredded cheese.
- Bake at 350°F for 25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
