Amazing 1-Pan Creamy Garlic Chicken Recipe

Description

Make a complete, balanced skillet meal with tender chicken, a garlic cream sauce, and bright broccoli florets cooked in one pan.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds boneless chicken
  • Kosher salt and ground pepper, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil, divided
  • 45 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon gluten-free flour
  • 1 medium broccoli head, chopped (about 3 cups)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • Lemon wedges, optional to serve

Instructions

  1. Rub the 2 pounds boneless chicken with kosher salt, ground pepper, and 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning on all sides.
  2. Whisk the 1 1/2 cup almond milk and 1 tablespoon gluten-free flour in a small bowl until smooth. Set this mixture aside.
  3. Heat 1 tablespoon of the olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken until golden-brown and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove the chicken from the pan and cover it to keep it warm.
  4. To the same pan, add the remaining oil over medium heat. Add the 4-5 cloves of minced garlic and cook for up to 1 minute.
  5. Pour in the almond milk mixture and stir; the sauce will thicken as it heats.
  6. Add the 1 medium broccoli head florets and cook for 6-8 minutes, or until the broccoli is tender.
  7. Return the chicken to the pan and continue to cook for a couple of minutes to heat the chicken through.
  8. Garnish with 2 tablespoons fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges, if you like.
