  • 4 pre-cooked chicken sausages, sliced
  • 23 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1.5 cups frozen peas
  • 1 (25 oz) jar marinara sauce
  • 0.5 cup milk of choice
  • 0.25 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 0.51 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 0.330.5 cup parmesan cheese, plus more for serving
  • 3 basil leaves, finely chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add sliced chicken sausages and cook until lightly browned.
  3. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  4. Stir in frozen peas and cook for 2 minutes.
  5. Pour in marinara sauce, milk, and heavy cream. Mix well.
  6. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
  7. Simmer for 5 minutes, then stir in cooked pasta.
  8. Add parmesan cheese and chopped basil. Toss to combine.
  9. Serve with extra parmesan if desired.
