These spooky eyeball brownies are fudgy, fun, and decorated with candy eyeballs—perfect for Halloween parties, kids, and family gatherings.

1 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup brown sugar
3 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
½ tsp salt
Candy eyeballs (or marshmallows + chocolate chips as DIY eyes)
White chocolate melts, truffles, or marshmallows (for eye base)
Red gel icing or strawberry syrup (optional, for “bloodshot” effect)
Mini candies or sprinkles (for decoration)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch pan.
- Mix melted butter, sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla.
- In another bowl, whisk flour, cocoa, and salt. Fold into wet ingredients.
- Pour batter into the pan, spread evenly, and bake for 25–30 minutes. A toothpick should come out with moist crumbs.
- Let brownies cool completely, then cut into squares.
- Place a white chocolate melt, truffle, or marshmallow on each square. Top with a candy eyeball (or DIY version).
- Drizzle melted chocolate or red gel for veins, and add mini candies for texture.
- Serve on a festive platter and enjoy!
Notes
- For gluten-free: use a certified GF flour blend.
- For dairy-free/vegan: use coconut oil instead of butter and flax eggs in place of eggs.
- Freeze undecorated brownies for up to 2 months. Decorate after thawing.
