Homemade Garlic Parmesan Potato Chips

Description

Make quick, crunchy potato chips flavored with garlic and Parmesan cheese using simple ingredients.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 medium potatoes, thinly sliced
  • 1 tbs olive oil
  • 3 tbs Parmesan cheese, freshly grated
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Soak potato slices in cold water for 20 minutes.
  2. Remove slices and pat them dry completely.
  3. Mix olive oil and garlic powder together in a bowl.
  4. Add potato slices and stir or turn to coat them evenly.
  5. Lay slices on a nonstick baking sheet with a lip.
  6. Put the sheet in a 400F (200C) oven and bake for 20 minutes.
  7. Remove the pan, turn the potato slices over, sprinkle with Parmesan, and return to the oven for 10 minutes longer.
  8. When done, remove the chips from the pan and serve them immediately.

Notes

  • The chips should be golden brown and very crunchy when finished.
  • These chips are a simple snack perfect for after-school treats.
