Description

A visually striking and refreshing non-alcoholic cranberry mocktail perfect for Valentine’s Day celebrations, featuring festive heart-shaped ice cubes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 52 ounces Cranberry Juice (Simply Cranberry Cocktail)
  • 4 12-ounce cans Cranberry Sprite (or Sprite or seltzer water)
  • Sugar for rim of glass
  • Fresh Cranberry Ice Cubes
  • Fresh Cranberries for garnish
  • Fresh Orange Slices for garnish
  • Fresh Rosemary for garnish

Instructions

  1. Make the ice cubes: Fill an ice cube tray with water. Drop in a couple of fresh cranberries and a small slice of orange into each section. Freeze until solid.
  2. Prepare the sugar rim: Dip the rim of your glass about 1/4 inch deep into water or cranberry juice to moisten it.
  3. Place granulated sugar in a shallow bowl. Gently press the moistened glass rim into the sugar, pressing and rolling slightly to coat the rim evenly.
  4. Assemble the mocktail: Fill the sugar-rimmed glass with ice cubes (preferably the cranberry orange ones).
  5. Add cranberry juice to fill about half the glass.
  6. Top with a sparkling drink, such as Cranberry Sprite, Sprite, or seltzer water. Aim for a 50/50 ratio of juice to sparkling drink, or adjust as desired.
  7. Garnish with fresh cranberries, orange slices, and a sprig of rosemary. Skewer fresh cranberries on a pick and rest it on the rim for presentation.

Notes

  • For a less sweet drink, use 100% Cranberry Juice (No Sugar Added).
  • If you prefer a sweeter drink without adding sweeteners, use Cranberry Juice Cocktail, which often contains added sugar.
  • For the bubbly option, you can also use Ginger Ale or Non-Alcoholic Ginger Beer.
