- 10 chicken wings
- 1/4 cup (31 g) all-purpose flour or gluten-free flour
- 1/4 teaspoon ground pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon granulated garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 3 tablespoons light brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce (use gluten-free if needed)
- Optional garnish: 1 chopped spring onion
- Optional garnish: 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
Instructions
- Pat the wings dry with a paper towel.
- Mix flour, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt in a large bowl.
- Coat each wing evenly with the flour mixture and shake off excess.
- Spray the air fryer basket with olive oil.
- Place wings in the basket without stacking.
- Air fry at 400°F (205°C) for 18 minutes, flipping halfway.
- Check internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- While wings cook, heat honey, sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, and brown sugar in a pot until thickened.
- Toss cooked wings in the sauce.
- Garnish and serve.
Notes
- For crispier wings, let them sit uncovered in the fridge for 30 minutes before cooking.
- Use gluten-free soy sauce if needed.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
