Ingredients

- 1 pound medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- Kosher salt and ground pepper, to taste
- 1 1/2 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 lemon, thinly sliced, plus juice of 1 lemon
- 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
- 1–2 tablespoons water or broth
- Freshly chopped curly parsley, for garnish
- 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes, or to your taste
Instructions
- Peel and devein the shrimp and place them in a mixing bowl. Season with salt and pepper, and stir in the minced garlic. Let marinate in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add shrimp and cook, stirring frequently, until shrimp starts to curl, about 2-3 minutes.
- Add lemon juice, lemon slices, white wine vinegar, and water or broth. Simmer for 2 minutes more until the shrimp is fully cooked and opaque.
- Remove from the heat, transfer to a serving dish.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and crushed red pepper flakes.
