Description

  • 1 small package (3.4 oz) lime gelatin
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 (8 oz) container whipped topping, thawed

Instructions

  1. Bake the cake according to package directions and let it cool completely.
  2. Use a spoon handle to poke holes in the cake, spacing them about 1 inch apart.
  3. Mix the boiling water and gelatin together until dissolved completely, about 2 minutes.
  4. Gently pour the gelatin mixture over the top of the cake, making sure it fills the holes.
  5. Refrigerate the cake for 2 hours.
