Ingredients

1 cup (240 ml) hot water (not boiling)
1 teaspoon green tea leaves (or 1 tea bag)
Juice of ½ fresh lemon
¼ teaspoon grated fresh ginger (or powdered ginger)
A pinch of pink Himalayan salt
Instructions
- Heat the water until hot but not boiling.
- Steep the green tea leaves (or tea bag) for about 3 minutes.
- Squeeze in the juice of half a lemon.
- Add the grated or powdered ginger.
- Sprinkle in a small pinch of pink Himalayan salt.
Stir well until dissolved and enjoy warm, or let it cool and serve over ice for a refreshing version.
Notes
- For best results, always use fresh lemon juice instead of bottled juice, which may contain additives.
- If you are new to ginger, start with a smaller amount and increase gradually based on your taste.
- Drink this tea once a day to start, then increase to twice daily if your body responds well.
- Serve it warm in the morning to kickstart digestion, or iced in summer for a refreshing detox drink.
