Description

Ingredients
Scale
- 8 cups purified water
- 1 cup hibiscus flower or 8 hibiscus tea bags
- 1 cup erythritol OR organic sugar OR stevia equivalent OR 3/4 cup honey, or any mix thereof
- 1/2 cup lime juice
- 2 cups frozen strawberries, about, a bit more is fine
Instructions
- Bring the water, hibiscus flowers, and preferred sweetener to a boil, and immediately turn off the heat. Cover and let steep for 10 minutes.
- Stir the mixture a bit to dissolve any granulated sugar, and strain half into a blender (removing the hibiscus flowers). Puree in two batches due to the volume.
- Using half the strawberries and lime juice, puree until smooth, and pour into a pitcher.
- Continue with the remaining tea, lime, and strawberries. Once pureed, mix with the other portion in the pitcher.
- Taste, and add additional sweetener if necessary. Serve ice cold, stirring or shaking before pouring.
