Description
A visually appealing, light, and refreshing non-alcoholic drink combining fresh strawberries and delicate rose flavor, perfect for Valentine’s Day or special occasions.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 oz London Dry Gin substitute (use a non-alcoholic spirit or sparkling water for a true mocktail)
- 2 oz fresh lemon juice
- 1 oz rose simple syrup
- 4 fresh strawberries, trimmed and tops removed
- dried rose petals, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Muddle 2 trimmed large strawberries at the bottom of each cocktail glass until most juice releases and pieces do not clump.
- Top the muddled berries with about 1/2 cup of cubed or crushed ice per glass.
- Add the non-alcoholic spirit substitute, freshly squeezed lemon juice, and rose simple syrup to a cocktail shaker with cubed ice.
- Shake well, then divide the mixture into the prepared glasses.
- Garnish each drink with crushed dry rose petals, sliced strawberries, or a slice of lemon.
Notes
- Make the rose simple syrup ahead of time and store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 weeks.
- Select ripe, fresh strawberries for the best flavor.
- Thoroughly muddle the berries to release all juice for maximum flavor.
- Replace ice with frozen sliced strawberries for a stronger, fruitier drink.
