Description

A fun, festive treat inspired by classic sugar cookies, perfect for holiday parties.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups (12 ounces) water, divided
  • 2 envelopes unflavored gelatin powder
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon butter extract
  • Frosting + Sprinkles, for topping

Instructions

  1. In a medium mixing bowl, sprinkle unflavored gelatin powder on top of 1/2 cup of room temperature or cool water. Set aside.
  2. In a medium saucepan, add 1 cup water and sugar. Stir over medium heat just until the mixture begins to simmer.
  3. Whisk hot sugar water mixture into the gelatin + water mixture until the gelatin is dissolved and there are no clumps.
  4. Pour mixture into 2-ounce plastic Jello shot cups, and chill in fridge for 3-4 hours or until set.
  5. Top with frosting and sprinkles right before serving.
