Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325 degrees F (163 degrees C).
  2. Mash bananas with a fork until smooth.
  3. Stir the mashed bananas, vegetable oil, and sugars together in a large mixing bowl.
  4. Mix in the remaining dry ingredients. Stir until the batter is fully combined.
  5. Optionally, add 1 cup of your favorite ingredient (like cranberries, blueberries, or chopped walnuts) after the batter is mixed. Spread this addition evenly.
  6. Pour the finished batter into a nonstick bread pan and smooth the top.
  7. Bake in the oven at 325 F (163 degrees C) for 65-70 minutes.
  8. Remove the bread from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Do not remove the bread during this time.
  9. After 10 minutes, remove the banana bread from the pan and place it on a cooling rack to cool completely, which may take 1-2 hours. If the bread sticks, gently slide a silicon spatula between the bread and the pan walls.
